Sustainable Design

Sustainable design means to produce products that are made only of renewable resources. Hence, products made by sustainable design are meant not to severely impact the environment either when they are in the process of being produced or when they are being used. These products are also typically meant to allow the consumer to feel more related to the natural environment.

Such designs is also known as "environmental design" and "environmentally-conscious design." This kind of a design is just as much a philosophy practice. It is based on finance, ecological, and communal concepts regarding the vitality of sustainability.

Products that are produced from this kind of design range from the tiny to the huge. An example is a tote bag made of recycled products meant to be used in replacement of paper or plastic bags at the supermart. While this common product is small, when folded up, to fit inside of a purse, it is a good example of the philosophy of sustainable design.

Sustainable design can even create massive products like creating buildings, even skyscrapers. As a matter of fact, it can also be used to plan and develop whole cities.

ADMT Lesson 1: Personal Reflection

It is to innovate and create new things that contribute to the department of ADMT.
It is important as the world relies on it heavily. I want to learn animation, starting simple, then getting more sophisticated as I learn more.

It would look very round, and instead of towering skyscrapers, the people would live in mountain caves.
